Interview & Entrance Preparation

Know the format before you practise

Institutions may use interviews, tests, written assessments or portfolios to understand how an applicant thinks and whether they are ready for the route. Preparation begins with the actual format, published criteria and subject demands.

These assessments are intended to reveal ability, judgement and preparation. Practice can strengthen performance, but it should not replace genuine understanding with a rehearsed version of the applicant.

Interview & Entrance Preparation

Understand what is being assessed

An interview may examine subject knowledge, reasoning, motivation, communication, professional awareness or the applicant's response to unfamiliar material. The balance depends on the institution and course.

We help the applicant develop clear answers, ask thoughtful questions and respond constructively when a discussion becomes difficult or takes an unexpected direction.

Preparation is adapted to the known format. We do not provide scripts or present unverified questions as predictions of what an institution will ask.

Interview & Entrance Preparation

Realistic practice and specific feedback

Where useful, a mock interview follows the known structure and level of the relevant assessment as closely as the available information allows.

Feedback can address reasoning, listening, clarity, pace, use of evidence and the ability to recover after uncertainty. The aim is better judgement and communication rather than a memorised performance.

Practice cannot predict every question or guarantee an outcome. It gives the applicant a responsible way to test their preparation before the official assessment.
